The Tulips make the 80-mile journey to Suffolk on Saturday as we face Bury Town in the third round qualifying of the Emirates FA Cup.

We most recently faced the Blues in November 2025, winning 2-1 at home courtesy of second-half goals from star striker Bart Cybulski and Dion Sembie-Ferris.

Bury Town currently sit second in the Southern League Premier Central on 24 points, winning 8 out of their opening 9 games.

Over the summer, they recruited New Zealand international Tommy Smith who featured in 3 games at the 2010 World Cup. The established centre-back brings experience into the squad, while new signing Sam Ford brings attacking threat to the Blues’ front line.

With both teams in a period of impressive form, it could possibly be a closer game than some might expect.

We look forward to returning to FA Cup action, Come on You Tulips!
