Spalding kickstart their FA Cup campaign on Saturday afternoon as they face Hanley Town at the Sir Halley Stewart. The Staffordshire side currently sit 5th in the NPL Division One West, winning 4 of their first 6 games.

To get to this stage of the competition, Hanley defeated Stourport Swifts, Droitwich Spa and most recently, Abbey Hulton, where they won 2-1 thanks to goals from Middleton and Stair.

A couple of players joined the ranks for Hanley over the summer with goalkeeper, Lucas Knight, joining from Stoke City on loan. They also retained key players in Lewis Porter and Joe Minshall.

The Tulips look to carry on their impressive unbeaten run of form, wanting to go one further than last season and reach the first-round proper of the FA Cup.
