Fox previously enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Tulips last season, playing a key role in the club's promotion to the National League North.

Having begun his career in the Peterborough United academy, Fox gained valuable experience with their Under-23 side before joining Peterborough Sports in search of regular first-team football.

Ashton then joined Spalding United on loan from sports last season helping us secure promotion to step 2.

Following his contribution during last season's promotion campaign, the club has moved quickly to secure his services on a permanent basis ahead of the new season.
