The Blues are not an unfamiliar side to Jimmy Dean’s men as we have been members of the same league for the previous two seasons. The most recent edition finished in a 2-2 draw as goals from Connor Johnson and Dan Lawlor helped to overturn a 2-goal deficit.

Stortford finished the 25/26 season in 16th place just 10 points above the relegation zone. They have started pre-season with 2 losses and a draw with their most recent result being a 3-1 win over Maldon & Tiptree.

Over the summer, the Blues have added winger Tyrone Baker to strengthen their attacking promise. They have also re-signed full-back Leon Davies and experienced midfielder Aaron Greene in an attempt to solidify their defensive quality.

Spalding look to extend their unbeaten run to 5 games unbeaten as we edge nearer to our inaugural season in the National League North.
